Our Mission

AmandaCooper

From their many hair textures, skin tones, and styles, it is undeniable that black women are unique in every way. For decades our society’s narrow images of beauty have caused many black women to feel insecure about their cherished God given features. N’herent Beauty was founded with the purpose of empowering black women and girls to take immense pride in their distinctive beauty. Our hope is that the messages sent through our apparel will cause you to celebrate how amazing you truly are. You don’t have to assimilate, it feels so much better to stand out! Embrace your N’herent Beauty.

Amanda Cooper, CEO & Founder

About the Founder

Amanda Marine Cooper is the CEO and Founder of N’herent Beauty Apparel. Amanda was born and raised in Chicago, IL before moving to Texas at the ripe age of 20 years old.  She is a Registered nurse by day and a blossoming entrepreneur by night. She graduated with a B.A. in Sociology from the prestigious historically black college, Texas Southern University before going on to achieve her nursing degree at San Jacinto College. It wasn’t long before she returned to her dreams of entrepreneurship. Attending Texas Southern University was the highlight of Amanda’s academic career. While there, her mindset was challenged by her professors and Amanda’s sense of pride in her black heritage grew to new heights. In addition, Ms. Amanda has been privileged to be a member of the Reflections of Christ’s Kingdom church, led by Apostle Dr. Dana Carson who has inspired her to dream bigger than she ever has before. As a young girl, Amanda was constantly reading books about the plight and achievements of her ancestors. Although saddened by the injustices that black people faced, she was also fascinated with how they continuously persevered through it all.  Amanda’s ultimate goal is to make a contribution to the cultivation of self-love and pride among black people everywhere. If one person can say that their confidence has grown as a result of N’herent Beauty, Amanda will feel that her efforts were not in vain.

Psalm 139:14 I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works; my soul knows that very well.
